Marc has always been into his music, from an early age he listened to his father play his music on his HMV gram in the living room of the home. Marc used to be in awe of how his dad could hold so many 7″ singles in one hand! The young Marc then went on to building cardboard radios before graduating on to old, discarded audio equipment…in fact, anything his dad got rid of was made good by Marc’s young hands!! Marc’s passion for music entertainment lead him to host many functions, parties, and themed events at top venues around London. His love affair with smooth soul started not as an adult but way back in his formative years and this lifelong addiction made him an avid collector, trawling numerous record shops to add to his collection. His first steps into the world of broadcasting came as a presenter on an internet radio station based in South London owned by the legendary late Tony Williams. His show, The Smooth Soul Sanctuary brought joy and entertainment to many listeners and he realised his smooth, classy blend of music was touching people from all over the world! Following his tenure with Rhythm365 (…as it was then known) Marc then brought The Smooth Soul Sanctuary to Ramjam Radio, further expanding his audience and experience. Then, for three years Marc brought his Smooth Soul Sanctuary to UK Pressure Radio where even more listeners then shared in his passion for all that is smooth and soulful. It was during this time Marc discovered his gift stretched beyond just smooth grooves…..he had revellers rocking on the dance floor to 80s soul and RnB. It just emphasises his belief that music is medicine!
