 k\, boogie\, and reggae.\nA rare figure in the early rave scene\, Aitch br
 idged the gap between two\ncontrasting youth cultures—soul and reggae—
 bringing them together in\na unique and revolutionary way. His collaborati
 on with Daddae Harvey and\nlater Jazzie B in the 1980s marked the dawn of 
 a new musical era\, with\nAitch cementing his place as one of the “Origi
 nal Funki Dreds”\n.\nBetween 1988 and 1992\, he spun tracks at some of t
 he hottest spots in\nLondon\, from the blues parties to the warehouse scen
 e to the birth of\nLondon’s Original Rare Groove era\, to the groundbrea
 king Sunday nights\nat the Africa Centre to the then legendary Friday Nigh

  the music that defined an era. But his influence didn’t stop\nthere—A
 itch collaborated with global legends like James Brown and The\nJones Girl
 s\, further cementing his status as a trailblazer. A central figure in\nth
 e rise of the Rare Groove and London Sound scenes\, his contributions\nhel
 ped lay the foundation for a movement that\ncontinues to inspire.\nToday\,
  Aitch B remains an active force in the\nmusic world as a respected radio
