SOUTHEND HEADBANGERS BALL Part 2 The New Era of Heavy Metal Nights now at Sunrooms 2, Southend Southend-on-Sea is about to get louder. This event marks the first of many Heavy Metal nights at Sunrooms 2, bringing together old-school 1980s metal attitude with the raw power of today’s underground scene. Hosted by the legendary Dr Ve’Garn Voodoo, this night is built for 80s rockers and modern Gen Z metalheads alike — a place where walls shake, heads bang, and riffs still kick harder than most modern rock. Expect classic, badass metal anthems that defined a generation, blended with contemporary heaviness that keeps the pit alive. Live Music The night features live performances from two of Southend’s hardest-hitting bands: • HOBO – delivering pure, no-compromise hard rock • WYTCHEAD – Southend’s newest Grunge Metal Trio, raw, loud, and unapologetic. DJs & Three Music Areas Alongside host Dr Ve’Garn Voodoo, the decks will be handled by: • Misty Tee • Voorzta • Guest DJs (TBA) Across three music areas, including a dedicated Metal vs Tech zone, floor-stomping lunatics can move between crushing guitars and relentless beats all night long. Competitions & Prizes • Air Guitar Competition between bands, with killer 80s-inspired prizes • Best “Metal” Outfit of the Night, rewarding the most authentic, outrageous, and heavy looks Entry & Cause Entry is FREE, with donation buckets passed around on the night in support of: • F.R.I.E.N.D. Farmed Animal Sanctuary• Camp Beagle As part of The Southend F.R.I.E.N.D. Collective, these events raise awareness and vital funds for sanctuaries dedicated to protecting and celebrating life. This is more than a gig — it’s the beginning of a new heavy metal movement in Southend

After the huge success of our Xmas Party, we’re back with the next chapter….EQUINOX 🌗 This time, we’re celebrating the changing of seasons with another signature SOAB event. Expect the same electric atmosphere and a great selection of superbly talented local DJs, delivering the usual kick-ass sets you’ve come to expect from years of SOAB events. We'll be spread across three spaces at Southend's best venue and once again bringing it all together into one unforgettable night.
