A brand-new event series is landing in Southend this June as Mid-Life Crisis makes its debut at Sunrooms2 — bringing together generations of ravers for one unforgettable night of music, memories, and community.
Taking place on Friday 19th June, this launch event is more than just a party. It’s a charity night and heartfelt send-off for Roz, a much-loved figure in the local scene who spent years looking out for others on the dancefloor.
Mid-Life Crisis is built on a simple idea:
👉 the old ravers meet the new ravers — and everyone still knows how to do it properly.
The night features a powerful line-up of Southend pioneers and underground talent, including:
Ed Friendly (Funny Skin), Filter Sequence (Live), Barry Singer (As It Should Be), Save The Dave (Funny Skin), Addsimeon (SomethinGroovy), Steve Zorro (Fidgit), DJ Tony Reading, Dr Ve’Garn Voodoo, Fuzzy Dunlop and Stan The Man.
Expect a full-spectrum soundtrack of techno, rave and house music, spread across three areas, including what many consider to be the UK’s best dance garden — a signature part of the Sunrooms2 experience.
Running from 8PM to 3AM, entry is free before midnight and just £5 after, making it one of the most accessible and meaningful events of the summer.
This is more than a launch.
It’s a reunion, a celebration, and the beginning of something new.
